Hundreds of volunteers help with the day to day operations of Thrift on Kent. We’re always looking for volunteers to receive donations, sort/price items, help on the truck, and to be the face of Thrift on Kent by working with our customers. If you have a few hours a week or several days a month, please call or email us for details. We always appreciate volunteers with specific knowledge and talents to enhance our shop and donations.

Pricing 15 September 2013

There have been whispers amongst our current shoppers at Waterloo Generations, that prices will go up when we open Thrift On Kent on October 28th.  Well I want to dispel those rumours now.

Our volunteers are not only our greatest asset, they're also our largest shopper base.  Believe me when I say that they wouldn't like paying higher prices just because we're in a new building and we wouldn't feel right doing it either.  So be assured that Thrift On Kent will still have very affordable, quality used items at the same pricing that you've enjoyed at Waterloo Generations.
